I will say that not every FF14 love story will start with a single girl and single guy who get together and live happily ever after. Yes sometimes one them usually start out with dating someone else, just like in movies, tv shows, books and even in real life. These are the love stories I receive in my DMs and they are real. I don't even know why I have to explain this honestly because nothing irl is perfect. If they all did start with 1 single guy and 1 single girl that get together wouldn't that also just be boring after a while too cause they're all the same love story? I just wanted to address this because some people have been slapping the word "cheating" on all the love stories in the comments as of late. Cheating is also defined differently for each person out there. So while this may be cheating to you this may not be cheating to some other people. I wanted to read some love stories to try it and show case people who are in happy relationships but I have closed off love story submissions going forward! There will be a few more that will come out after this but no more after that! ^^ Thanks for reading!

There was barely anything in the story that felt cheaty at all. I mean Kenshin sounded like he was coming off a bit flirty to her early on but without full context and seeing it in person there's not really enough evidence on our side to judge... and OP said it best, we can't control who we have feelings for.
This guy has GOT TO be the one that holds the bouquet if there is an IRL wedding. At the very least have him take one couple picture with it as a reference to her mistake.
OP is love drunk and not bright. Kenshin is emotionally, if not physically cheating. Cheating is cheating. He found excitement and will toss her to the curb when the excitement is over and the next exciting thing comes along.
Kenshin's story about how Felicia lost feelings for him and then gave him an ultimatum are obviously fake. He likely tossed her to the curb for OP. He's a pretty 🗑 individual.
While the OP knew that Kenshin had a gf, OP wasn't the one in a relationship. Yeah, homewrecking is not advised, but you can't homewreck anyone who doesn't want to be homewrecked.

Personally not a fan of love stories, somehow they make me more uncomfortable than drama tales haha but, I do think that’s just an after effect of the public RPing that’s scarred me for life in Limsa 😅😰
But I do enjoy having your videos running in the background. Some of those stories can be so wild and even some times validate the craziness that I’ve seen and experienced myself playing the game on and off the past 10 years!

I had more love stories as of late cause of Vday but I read usually 2-3 drama stories every week and only 1 love story but I have already closed off love story submissions so they'll all mainly be drama ones soon.
That’s cheating, my relationship also based on something like this and I can guarantee you it hurts. It feels like hell and I suggest people not to cheat. Love can be hard, you can’t always control your heart but you damn well could control what you do.
I know that they have their happy ending, but it breaks me to hear that his ex brags and speaks of him kindly while he has been pecking op cheeks. Even if it feels like she’s claiming him towards op.

Yeah, been apart of a roundabout girl version of this like this one who was "on and off, break, distance relationship who ended up being broken up in the end". It's just a landmine, but its people being people. People like attention even while they are in a relationship. My advice, don't, it rarely ends well, pining for someone who is in a relationship, steady or not. But if it does wreck you, take it for life experience and not falling in the same trap again. The guy was acting very borderline cheaty in this story though, those cheek kisses and lifts are not how you act around girls when you are in a relationship.

As much as I like love, it's so riddled with implicit pre-cheating landmines along the way. Makes me question the integrity of relationships made through a hobby since it was convenient. It just gives a message that if you have a busy life, anyone outside can snatch your S/O. I was also expecting a "bye felicia" near the end lol.

I'm only at the 10 minute mark but the OP is kind of making their own problems and creating every issue they've talked about. (EDIT: "The obvious thought was that I was his GF")
Now at the 13 minute mark. I'm not a jealous person at all but a guy can tell when a girl is interested in another guy. OP clearly liked Kenshin and created the "possessive behavior" aka: guy not liking that his GF is interested in another guy.
When a girl or a guy (kuz this goes both ways) makes the claim that feelings started after the breakup their a liar and flirt.

Clearly you must have had a traumatic/bad experience with your relationship and, it is unfortunate you had to go thru such an experience. It is nothing to laugh about because everyone experiences this type of situation differently. Considering that, you have all right to think whatever you want. However, not experiencing the actual events behind the story only leaves you with speculations. Therefore, it's unnecessary and disrespectful toward others and the content creator, to press your hate on a story, that was shared for enjoyment.
Plus not all love stories come from Disney fairytales or are sunshine and rainbows. Life is not perfect and no person is “perfect” so why should a story be “perfect”?
