Hey buddy, I've done the Spiti trip through Manali and the route is worse than Shimla-Kaza route. In fact, there's no road at all. Usually, people come to Kaza via Shimla and return via Manali by also visiting Chandratal Lake if interested. Manali Kaza route is only open for few months during the year.

Bhai Highway mein Adventure nehi hota , Aur without Cold Mind iss road mein gadi chala ne mein maaza nehi ayega , socho Aap konsi catagory mein ho . Mujhe toh sara din iss road mein gadi chalana pasand hai .
