The Late Great Emy Phelps on Guitar, the legendary Sharon Gilchrist on Mandolin, Aidan O'Donnell on bass and the one and only Maeve Gilchrist on Lever Harp. And you're gonna get that kind of fiddle sound on a U87 no matter what strings you use.
Whos the Girl on the Harp? Its something I have never heard on a harp b4. Beautiful song,,,,,,, funky Grace.......2 words not often used together I would think...
What a great performance by everyone. Darol has been one of my main influences since I first discovered him in the n the mid seventies on the first Grisman Quintet album. finally got to know him when I was asked to take Vassar Clements place teaching teaching a fiddle workshop because Vassar had gotten very sick. I was very saddened to hear that Vassar hear that he had a terminal illness that took his life later that same year. I think it was August 16 2005. Darol was incredibly kind and we have remained friends ever since.

Sounds great. Makes me feel of "firefly".
Also, what is this thing on his violin? Reminds me of Jake from AT, lol.
Thanks for the wonderful upload, but please credit ALL the musicians.
Brilliant. What are the musicians' names for this version of the Furies?

Great musicians, but they’ve turned a “raw meat” blues tune into a vegatarian dish with an extra helping of kale.
