I remembered walking into a bar in Oslo in 1989 - hearing a jazz-fushion band way back in the bar. We came directly into a guitar-solo being performed. My friend and I was blown away - it was the best guitar-solo/impro we had ever heard - live or on record (and at that time we had heard a lot of guitar-jazz-players). It was Stian Carstensen performing. On one of his many instruments. He is simply a music gift to us all. Everything he touches becomes gold. Bless him.
