I’m a beginning guitarist as well! It’s extremely discouraging to see somebody do it so easily...it just takes skill. I got pissed because I could barely learn a 2-string riff. It just takes time
Try to do at least an hour a day , even if you have to wake up earlier, in a year you will have more than 365 hours playing guitar . And you can only get better ,so , a little bit everyday , even if you are the most talentless human being , should get you there 😂

Not that I'm complaining about this one, but check out Acoustician's take on acoustic solo to Comfortably Numb. It's just unbeatable, even though this one had a few notes that I liked better.
Can I just say this man has either got super light strings on his acoustic, or has crazy finger strength to make his bends so nicely on an acoustic. Especially on comfortably numb. Incredible video!
In the Hotel California solo, I love how you shift your hand back towards the bridge at the first transition from the Felder part of the solo to the Walsh part (8:07). Awesome work. Thanks.
I started playing about 4 months ago and I use this video as a guide for the solos to learn. I've already learnt Bohemian Rhapsody, Sultans of Swing, Stairway to Heaven, Comfortably Numb, Hotel California and Sweet Child O' Mine. Even though I can't play them really well without making mistakes yet, I'm hoping to reach the same stage as you eventually!
Aside from the great ability to play acoustic guitar like pro, the sound quality of the setup are also good. The guitar, the pickup, and the mic made this video a pleasure to watch and listen.
@DH When you directly quote something, it's customary to use quotation marks. I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but again, apologize to your parents for having to deal with you for however long they did before putting you up for adoption
I thought hours passed when I got to Comfortably Numb, and then realized those were only 5 minutes, you are amazing and hearing these songs in this guitar and setup overall is really charming, hypnotizing, and pleasing.
30 years is more than enough time to master something lol you could master so many skills in 30 years. I think people exaggerate how much time they've actually been doing something. Perhaps off and on, a little here and there for 30 years shouldn't actually count as "being a guitarist for 30 years." Some parts of these solos can be difficult but not 3 decades difficult! if you actually want to learn them. Don't let incompetent people make you think it takes so much time to be good at something, lots of people don't have enough drive to succeed, if you want something bad enough, it's pretty easy to get ahead of the game fairly quick. Hell, the average person doesn't even have one hobby or skill they're good at, too many people today consider social media a hobby.

That got me thinking... Can an acoustic guitar theoretically handle a floating bridge? I would imagine that the sudden changes in tension might break something quite easily, but maybe I'm just underestimating the durability of acoustics.
As a beginner player. Interesting choice of guitar. No discouragement though. Simple reminder of what practicing a skill does. Creates more excitement than anything

I think he used super light strings cuz only Hulk can bend on normal strings like dat.
Earnie Ball earthwood lights are pretty easy to bend.
