The problem with the economy is that Americans have been told over and over that we should get out and spend money. We are used to stupidly cheap merchandise, cheap food, cheap gas, we believe that we DESERVE to get the worlds goods at rock bottom prices, because we are Americans! Many people literally shop for entertainment , for "retail therapy", because we're bored, because we have been conditioned to the idea that consumerism makes America stronger. But now a meal at Burger King costs $15,00+. Our electricity has gone up 40% in just a few years and they are asking for a 12% increase to pay for damage to transmission lines damaged by wildfires. That is a cost the stockholders should pay for, but corporations never fail to pass on every expense to consumers . We are paying for mitigating industrial pollution as a part of our insanely expensive water bills . The corporations that polluted the ground disbanded and reformed with new names, they get away with every criminal act that saved them profit. We don't like reality, especially in 2024!

I didn't cringe with walz not fact checking Vance or get upset like everyone else has. Walz answered the questions with substance, but that's what I was looking for. I think walz was nervous because he knew that debates isn't his strength. I think he was playing it safe in the debate because he didn't want to mess up. At least he was honest & owned about when he was in china, and corrected himself. Vance favorably went slightly up where Walz went up good even though the post polls said he lost.
