fr, from what I researched, if you take Italo Disco and Hi-NRG then you'll get Eurobeat. Eurobeat is Italo Disco but faster basically but Italo Disco is not Italo Disco. It's what's called a fusion genre.
this is how eurobeat sounded before the stuff you hear in Initial D happened. "eurobeat" is just a Japanese marketing term for any European dance music, most people in English speaking countries would call this stuff hi-NRG or italo-disco
