I didn't have Hokusai so I was happy this came, rolled till I got her NP2, missed Imaginary Scramble sadly so I'm looking forward to Van Gogh's next rate up and Imaginary Scramble being added permanently like S.E.R.A.P.H. I wish you all luck on your rolls!
Hokusai put in a lot of work for me in the early days of my account cause having an AE arts character who doesn't get BTFO'd by berserkers was very handy, especially before I had the parts to successfully NP loop with anyone. If your account lacks the ability to otherwise 3 turn berserker groups, I'd actually recommend her. She can survive carding down the first wave if you need to. If you have better "farming" options, she does OK to be used in harder berserker based fights since she can strip away a lot of defense even if her NP isn't doing big damage. I think she suffers from a lot of the problems Abigail does where she's okay at a couple things but isn't a very well focused unit and doesn't excel at anything. Kinda swiss army knifey.
Tamamo, as a support, is fine at NP1, and she's a gen pool servant, on the SSR ticket. Hokusai is a limitied SSR DPS, so really benefits from (at least) NP2. Also her third append is anti-Berserker, playing into her niche even harder. On the other hand, MIXA is the Grail Front Welfare, so... (That said, I already have NP5 Hokusai)

They had to do the banner, because Buffs were tied to it. Sure they could have just released the Buffs, but why would they do only that and pass on dropping Bait? Doing it like it was on JP was just in their interest and saves them the hassle of changing anything.

Hoku is the best AOE foreigner with decent skills. her only advantage is resistance to seekers and damage department wise, some other aoe class can be used in her stead. already got hoku in her first banner and tama using last semi-free ssr tiket. not interested in higher np lv so gonna pass on this banner. more focused on synchro lancer for the time being. morgan can wait since she has numerous banner to come...
