I JUST started gluebooking! I love it! I look through magazines and find pictures and words I like. Also certain celebrities magazines as well. I just glued a page dedicated to Sidney Poitier one of my fave actors!
Great sounds with your tearing. I will probably watch it again for the tearing (i know that's weird but ohhhh welllll) I have several things I do and I always do multiple options. My art thrift store sells magazines for 25 cents and when you have harvested whatever you want to keep then you simply take it back and put it in the free bin. They throw everything away after a month so you gotta get in there to get the fresh pics from the bin. Another thing I do is tale scraps (including scrapbooking paper) and put them all into a journal based on how will used them. If you can get a hold of an old white pages/yellow pages, I use that and lightly glue the scrap to the page of the yellow pages . I divide my white pages based into color tabs and when you want to use it you simply tear it out of the book. The white pages are super thin and it won't matter if some of the glued part comes off with the page. That really sounds like the long way around to tell you but I think I've got it.
Ahhhh I love the sound of tearing too. Thank you for watching. And thank you for the suggestion using the phone book, that’s a great idea. I wish there was an art thrift store near me… I’d be there all the time! Maybe I need to open one 🤔
@@frannypannyatpawsnpaints Starting one sounds like a good idea! especially with all the supplies I have accumulated from there! Seriously...If you are willing to pay shipping, I'd be happy to look for things you need. They have 2 huge boxes full of rubber stamps for 25 Cents each.
