Yep, one of my most useful pieces of kit (though I have the 2.5 version: functionality is identical, just a smaller screen). I use it on its own, or with my Blackforest Motion Pine II controller (controlling a 4-axis moco setup). Eventually, I plan to have 4 Pro Timers, to control all of my TL cameras. Gunther really is the GOAT of timelapse production! :-)
Even if my Canon R5 has an integrated timer, I prefer to use this protimer because I can change my exposure here in the blue hours (holy grail), there i need a bit longer exposer, and that is worth its weight in gold!! Good Job Gunther!! ;-)
I am interested in the intervalometer, but like some people here I would like to know the compatibility with the different brands on the market. Like Zeapon, Ifootage for example.
@@Johatsu You need to check, if the timelapse controller offers a slave mode. Can you recommend a portable slider that is not too expensive? I looked at iFootage Shark nano but I don't know if it is compatible with LRTimelapse PRO Timer 3? Thank you
Any controller that offers "slave mode" will be compatible with the LRT PRO Timer. Ask the manufacturer. Personally I use the Pine II controller from Black Forest Motion and their Slider. But you could also operate (nearly) any other slider with the Pine. Check out their website: blackforestmotion.com
I am very much interested in this intervalometer, i have a question that i cant seem to find a good answer to. How good is the scheduling feature of it, i plan to shoot flower time lapses and i need the camera to go off on specific times during the day (so i dont capture anything when the light is off), for a prolonged period of time. So basically i need at least for it to be able to take pictures between certain times of the day every day. Can it do that?
Yes, check out the mode "periodic timelapse". It allows you to set a start and end time during which everyday the shooting will take place. For example shoot with a certain interval every day between 10 am and 4 pm. See: lrtimelapse.com/lrtpt/manual/ (section periodic TL}. Please come to the forum for further questions.
AFAIK Syrp doesn't provide any interfaces for external triggering. But please ask this question to the Syrp support, they will know exactly (and the more users ask, the higher the pressure to implement it in future versions!)
I love your work man, can't believe you have visited "my" fjord and been right beside my house😱 You must have been here in the last few weeks judging by the morning sun in the mountains🌞 But there's one thing I can't understand about the PRO Timer 3... Why USB micro in 2022??? please get rid of it as soon as possible
Thanks, it was a friend of mine that was visiting Norway a couple of weeks ago. She shot those sequences and provided them for the video. I have been traveling that area a couple of times also in winter, it's beautiful!!
@@mads5000 yes I did. We spent several hours out there in the evening for the Aurora. But I also went there on the morning before I had to fly back for some time.

Looks amazing! but 238.99$ why is it so expensive? With all the respect, it's still just an Intervalometer. I ask honestly to understand the logic beyond this price. There is on the market devices such as CamRanger Mini that offer a lot more features and cost less.
The CamRanger is just a rebranded China-Wifi-Router with an alternative firmware. This is not comparable. I've designed the LRT PRO Timer from scratch, it's been produced in Germany, I conform to all regulations and I try to source as much locally I can. Producing hardware on a small scale like for the LRT PRO Timer in Europe is expensive. This cannot be compared with multi million unit production in China with all the issues like exploitation of workers etc. which I like to avoid. I can assure you that the LRT PRO Timer is not a product with which I earn considerable amount of money. It's a side project which is more work for me than revenue. I keep doing it because there is no other comparable device on the market. If it was, I wouldn't need to go though all the hassle involved in hardware manufacturing. After all, my main business is Software (LRTimelapse).

Always intrigued by these intervalometers. Consider changing to a USB-C port for the next version, please.

Brilliant device Gunther, a great addition to the Lrtimelapse software
Thanks so much!
Best intervalometers I've ever used. So good I have 2 🙂

Just got it recently and going to test it in my shooting process 👍

I’m waiting for interpolated variable intervals.
Interval Ramping is possible and has been for a long time, if you mean that. You can smoothly ramp from one interval to another in a certain time.
Just got mine yesterday 😁
