I love folklore. I remember this story from my childhood. I had many books of myths and legends, folk tales, beautiful princes, tyrant kings, witches in chicken-leg houses, swans and swallows, fortunes lost and won, wishes granted and deep, dark forests. I had forgotten this one and you brought it back to me. Thank you x

I don't usually comment on videos, but i had to for this one - I'm not finished with the video yet (worried I'll fall asleep before remembering to mention this), and I'm already struck with how great it is. A lot of people have commented and i agree, the story is soothing and i love the idea. What is really striking to me tho is how artful your camera angles and set pieces are. The shot that had you speaking from the chair but the lamp in front was so creative and neat to look at! And i love the lighting throughout, and the contrast of the orange fire and dark background. Also the small moments of adjusting the firewood or pouring a drink. Subbed, very excited to see more of your work!
