Man watching this interview gave me chills. I mean, this man is humble. I don't think he understands what he meant to black culture in the 90s. This man single handedly made Hip-hop mainstream. The only show that booked hip-hop artists to over 10 million audience of different race every night. He had more audience than Oprah and some nights more viewership than Jony Carson. That's how massive Mr. Hall was. From his whoof whoof, to his finger pointing to his A list guests, this man was bigger than life in the 90s. I really don't think he grasps how important he was / is to older generation black people. An icon indeed. Nothing but #respect for sir Arsenio Hall!

If wasn't for Wesley Snipes making blade movies it wouldn't be no Iron Man, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, nor any Wander Vision series.
Because of the success of the Blade movies, Marvel Comics was able to move forward to make these other movies and the rest is history. 😬

I almost cried when Charlagmane asked him about being a black talk show host in the 90s and he said the thing about being called a monkey and the look on his face. People have went through so much to make things better for us today. We might not be all the way to where we should be, but thank God for the progress.

I remember in the 90s promising my parents that if they let my sister and I watch Arsenio Hall show with them we would get up early for school. Aresenio always meant a lot to us. There was no show like his show. He had everybody you could think of and more on his show. I loce he was able to bring it back in 2014 and I hate when they cancelled his show. It would be so cool to see him do a talk show again. I loved him being in Coming 2 America by the way.

My feelings were a little hurt but I was like okay whatever, at least I'm on his page. I get awakened the next morning from a random DM from a lady telling me that Arsenio himself had reposted me in that sane pic on his IG page!! When the Arsenio Hall show returned in 2013, he was killing it! In my humble opinion, the reason the show was cancelled was because Arsenio's ratings were way too high. No one was watching the big well established late-night giants. Everybody gravitated to the new Arsenio Hall show. They thought they'd "throw him a bone" by re-booting his old show. They didn't know he was gonna come in and take over. Remember when Prince performed the entire show???? That's how hot the show was, and that's how much Arsenio was (and still is) loved.
