great video Mohan, way back I used to do similar stamps on ready fexografic material, and also photo polymer plates, but they were much simple process as the plates were ready to be exposed with the negative, and the final results were superb, this was in Riyadh KSA, The photopolymer plates were used for Letterpress and sometimes for blind Embossing, The Rubberised flexographic plates were used for Flexography or Rubber stamps making. there were only two units one for exposing which had a fixed roll on transparent sheet, and the other for developement, the flexographic plates were developed in a Chemical and the Photo polymer plates for letterpress was developed in plain water based solution, actually you brought back memories and took me back in time. A filament type printer will never print the intricate details of a design, unlike this process. This process is similar to a DLP printer anyways, where only the exposed part of the resin gets solidified. This machine is 10x cheaper than a DLP printer and you're able to make 10+ stamps at a time compared to 1 or 2 in a DLP printer.
Where's the butter sheet use for that is not shown in this video. What is relation between first print and second print. That's why I am feeling something gaps. Any one make clear it!
You must be an overly confident man to group up those works in that large chunk and carefree about the difference in exposure time each one needed. I threw away my UV box and chemicals a few months after opening business due to the slowness, and trial and error needed and went laser, now I am achieveing 100% successful result and could do much more in a day!!
I personally think both are the same. Only the guy tries to sell his products and machinery. By the way I made my first PHOTO POLYMER in 1991. They say ... Time flies.
