I'm about to pull the trigger on the Gen 3. $130 Canadian. I can't pass that up. I don't really even need irons but the price is so good I gotta get 'em.

Thanks great comparison! Whats kinda funny about watching these comparisons on pxg irons is the hosts always prefer the smaller iron but end up hitting the P-XP better

I had Gen 1 0311 and 0811x driver. I'm now using blades and I prefer them. PXG is a great company and a great story but hot faced strong lofted irons don't really suit my game anymore. I really enjoyed my time with the PXG irons but blades look and feel so wonderful.

Hi is the gen3 much different than the gen2. Currently play 0311p gen2 and love them

They are very similar but noticeably even softer feeling than the Gen 1 or 2.

Nice video Ryan but perhaps a mention of the 0211 could have been included ( I suspect many still do not know PXG offer a less expensive club) and I also noticed you mention the loft on the XP but not on the P and T. Are they more ‘standard’ than the very strong loft on the XP?

      Thanks Roy. Lofts are XP = 28° (7 iron), P = 31° (7 irons) & T = 32°. Hope that helps

I'd like to see the notes and reviews based on lofts only rather than the stamp the manufacturer has on them. I can make a 4 iron and put a 6 or 7 iron stamp on it. So it often isn't fair to compare a 7 from one manufacturer to another

They're going for 130 CAD now is that crazy price?

I hate comparisons where its a 27 degree vs a 32 degree. My 5i goes further than my 6i

Great review. I would not play a premium iron due to budget and also because I'm a firm believer it's the Indian not the arrow. My Wilson Staff irons work well and probably at a 1/4 of the price (45-yr old male/9.2 index)...

Great vid.... I have gen1 0311 and 0211... besides mizuno and Honma.. I love the feel and forgiveness these clubs provide. The 0811 LX gen1 driver... ah not that excited about it. It was replaced by G410 LST

Great video! PXG clubs are no better than any other top brand of irons, we all know that the club is only as good as the swing you put on it. The real genius of PXG is that there is no stock offering, you must get fit for them. So it stands to reason that a person playing PXG is more likely to have better success versus a person who buys a set off the rack. The moral of the story is get a proper fitting at a club centre that doesn’t carry any stock offerings. Too many times Big Box stores, even ones that have fitters, need to move inventory. So you could very well go through a fitting and the fitter will often say the stock offering would be great for you. Plus there’s also the allure of walking out with a shiny new set of irons versus having to wait a week or more for your clubs to arrive. Keep up the good work 🏌🏻‍♂️

Absolutely- everyone should have a custom fitting before buying any golf club 👍👍

I agree to a point. PXG will play similar to other irons but they are 5 times forged with the thinnest face in golf ⛳️and made in the USA which no other manufacture does. So yes, they are premium compared to all others. That doesn’t mean they are magic clubs however. 😂😂😂
