    Dear Julian, i'm studying at the Academy and having some difficult problems with my bow "handling", i cant play freely anymore, my arm has turn to stone, and i sound like that. Can you please share some advices how to overcome that particular problem(anxiety)? Thank you so much :*

    Julian, I notice in a lot of videos of you playing, you move your pinky finger while bowing. My teacher taught me to keep the pinky down in order to keep balance and to do so make sure that my arm's weight is distributed fairly, not just on my index finger, but some to the back "support"... But when playing I oftentimes lift my pinky finger naturally, and often get corrected by my teacher. What is your take on how important the pinky finger actually is?
