Thank you very much! Well, it's worth the trip if the track is far away, it's the best thing you can do with your bike if that's your thing! I'm totally hooked and feel so grateful that I get to do this! I wish I was younger and had more money, I would love to race. Anyway, I was at the track yesterday, so new video coming tomorrow, a bit slower tho because it has been 5 months since last time.
@@konstantinos777 Yea, I don't know about your place, but you can't always get your road bike on track. It also costs a bit. I'd travel the distance but 3-4 hours 1 way.. I'd have to sleep there, since returning after a day of tracking would be too exhausting. I'm surely not excluding that, but will need some spare cash and time.
@@BlastOnWheels I do this once or twice a year, I mean visit the second and best track in Greece which is in Serres, 6,5 hours drive from Athens. I have to transport the bike, or take it with a friend's trailer, or book support by an engineer who will also transfer the bike, book a hotel room, take a 2 day leave from work, do a track weekend and stay there for 3 nights. Also buy a new pair of tires because by the end of the the first day they're done. That's a big deal and I'm not rich.. but every time I am on my way back home, all I am thinking about is when I am going to go again! This costs about a whole month's salary. It's an expensive and demanding sport we have! My next dream is to ride in Misano and Mugello in Italy, that costs about 3 times more.
@@konstantinos777 Oofff that is seriously expensive. UK isn't that bad, but last time I checked the nearest track has some space available in February. I'll make my own video if I go next year, since I've been meaning to go for a while now. Anyway, have a good one and I'm looking forward to your next video.
@@BlastOnWheels I started with the California Superbike School. I had a lot of riding experience on the road, but none on the track. If you haven't done any riding courses on track riding, I would highly recommend to find a good riding school to get you started. Thanks, best of luck!
