An often overlooked and under rated song , I think due to it never been played live , it’s on an ep that came after Danzig 3 and before Danzig 4 album is the song “violet fire"

Blood and Tears off Lucifuge is a true classic. Not bombastic like this but reminiscent of Elvis. Amazing song

Agreed. Probably the absolute best showcase of his vocal talents. Glenn really brings it. He also wrote Roy Orbison's track Life Fades Away on the film as well.

Check out anything from his 2nd Album Lucifuge. Not a bad song on that cd. Then skip to his 7th 777 I, Luciferi. Again not a weak song in the lot. I would also suggest his post Misfits band Samhain

As far as Danzig solo goes, you couldn’t be more wrong. I will concede that most of his post 4 stuff is very sub par but 6 and 7 are great albums especially 7 and the guitar work of Todd Youth RIP..

In my personal opinion, you won't hear anything bad from Danzig, until after Danzig 4. After that her went techno and it's just not even close to this
And after that he went back to blues metal. Death Red Sabaoth and Black Laden Crown are very strong albums.

Man young Danzig's voice was the best. Shame he didn't look after it.
From what I've gathered through interviews over time, he blew his voice during the Danzig 5 tour. It was never the same after that album(though on that record most songs are drenched in effects)...
I'll listen to Glen sing misfits or samhain songs recorded on a potato in the basement of a Midwest Knights of Columbus Hall circa early 80s so I have no problem saying danzig 6 , 7 and 8 are all baddass records . 9 and 10 sound good too but they never pulled me in for many relistens . I mean fuck metallica 6 7 and 8 were load reload and st anger so I'll take danzig singing at 80% while the bands still killing well written songs all day every day
