One of the psychological benefits of Mech Abomination is that it's very addicting to weave it in at every cooldown instantly. While almost all the other echos I feel pressured to use them at an opportune time and I often end up simply not using those echos in that rotation or at the very least end up with excessive downtime in Echo use. Mech just feels foolproof to use.
Zejeff is sleeping on countermeasures echoes. Birds and Rocksteady Guardian completely remove a moveset from Heron(Hologram version) and Thundering Mephis (Tower version). Contrary to what he said in the video, it is really easy to catch them and you have a really easy time knowing when they are going to use these moves. Heron does it in the last 30% hp and Mephis has a high chance to do his special move after he is recovering from broken state. He should add a category specifically for special move bosses. Very niche.
Also, he didn't even mention that havoc flower. Its just like the salamander except more reliable to land the hit. And somehow purple heron and rocksteady, while doing the same thing as fusion warrior but better, ended up being two tiers below him because... reasons.
Idk man, heron almost never did his special move for me, even on diff 6, when he was below 30% for a decent amount of time. Plus I was playing calcharo, so nobody on his team could afford to slot in an off-set just for this.

@@Swearsan You mean you put the cyan birb on Yinlin? Because I believe it can only be on aero/spectro sets, so losing 5p electro, or 5p moonlit on Yinlin is a big loss imo. But as long as you beat it, all of that doesn't matter really, so good for you.
mine aswell i am using it on yinling and kalcharo instedo of electro set cuz its just so good for aoe and i can give that set to any new dps cuz its universal as log as unit scales with atack

To get into suske territory, in 1.1 there’ll be a new 3 cost glacio echo (Lumiscale Construct) which does 554% on a non parry, 830% on a parry, and can interrupt special skills like the cyan heron. I think this will become the best glacio echo
I didn't know Tunes was bugged LOL. I was actually considering doing a side project of building Lingyang on Tunes because his Outro Skill does a big chunk of damage and his rotation really benefits from using summons. I guess I'll wait until it's fixed (and after I finish all my other characters LOL)

This list is less about echoes and more about swap cancelling, which is still good comparism and insight, many thanks! Next I will list some of my own experiences, make of them what you will. I would mention and disagree on a few points that flew totally under the radar here. Healing Sonata Set's Cruisewing is GODLIKE if your team doesn't run a dedicated healer, it's pretty much the only viable healing echo so far. On that same logic, any echo with i(nvincibility) frames is already a win, no matter which one you pick. By the opposite logic, if you are not getting hit, any defense echo like the turtle looses all of it's benefits. Think of any Gunner/Mage staying safely distanced (or no hit maniacs). Many HIGH ranked echo here are based on energy regeneration with 15second cooldowns AND even transformation and positional disadvantages. Quick summons have 5seconds of cooldown, using them trice can be safer and do about the same, without forcing any extra conditions like long on-field / combo times. Inferno Rider is a meme and all fire actives are bad. That said, it's not having i-frames, long animation in melee range OR accidental bike animations IS INFERIOR to the Geohide Saurian with spammable, auto target aoe. All fire units are ranged; reconsider nuking yourself for rider's buff in favour of a nice cone shaped content clear that generates a ton of energy and parries bosses. Dreamless is nerfed/situational for havoc rover ONLY. Think of a drain tank Taoqi team. The spammable Havocmane is a superior alternative with amazing i-frame swaps and decent aoe dmg.
A questions been bugging me. From an efficiency standpoint, are 5 star rarity echoes MUCH worse than 3 rarity ones cuz they cost so much more (especially for 1 cost echoes)? I learnt recently that the substats of echoes are NOT rarity or cost dependant. So going for higher rarity only gives you a slightly larger main stat (for 1 cost echoes, 8% atk% at lv 15 for 3 star rarity and 18% atk% at lv 25 for 5 star). Its SO much more expensive for that 10% atk% and 2 more additional substat you could gain. And the 2 additional subs are prolly not as important - if you already rolled crit rate crit dmg and atk%, theres not really much else to gain from 2 more subs.
Idk Inferno Rider's lock on has always felt great. Also, good aoe frontal cleave and good stagger, even on enemies with Vibration strength, not bosses of course. And also you can long press to drive it, haha. With Thundering Mephis you can swap cancel the first hit IF you have it's skin on. For the buff anyway. Considering how other 4 costs work it's likely a bug the base skin has. Also the targeting is ass worst I've ever seen. 38:09 Sure but Void Thunder also buffs that damage lol. Like, not as much sure but it's not like it's straight 60% more. It's only 30% more, at the cost of not buffing the rest of your kit...
Violet feathered birb is decent on calcharo imo, because you can just tank a hit with it while in ult, without triggering his dodge counter and having to dodge/skill cancel it for the death messengers. Plus it makes some nasty moves trivial to survive (looking at you, diff 6 heron)

I've actually never used the Mech Abomination echo nor its set and I had just come to realize how good it actually is. In comparison to the very clunky Lampylumen Myriad + Lingyang's very single target damage, I just thought maybe it's actually worth using it over the Glacio set, and since he does tend to stay on-field a lot of the time due to his ult, it might be easy for him to use the full effect of the 5PC. Or should I just do mix and match glacio + atk set and leave it at that?

I've been playing wuwa exclusively on mobile (UL41), the game just sucks on mobile, its playable but you really can't do the high skill level technical gameplay unless you sweat enough and learn a 'clawgrip' for mobile
How is the mech with overworld echo farming? Maybe something like two dps with crit/atk/atk/atk/atk mech sets plus havoc with dreamless and you could clear the map stupid fast if it does enough damage
She doesn't do enough damage to justify putting her on damage set like the glacio set , a supportive set like Moonlit (with heron as the active echo) is much better to buff the other DPS But if you enjoy play her as "main DPS" , you can use the glacio set in that case

If you want to optimize Calcharo then Void set is recommended, but if you want to be able to use the echoes on other units the Lingering Tunes set would be preferrable.

going to need both if you want YinLin to deal great damage as an on-field dps Tempest Mephis main echo with either Crit rate or Crit damage main stat (2 hit attack buffs electro damage and heavy attack damage after its attack connects) Flautist with Electro Damage (gains concerto energy after use) Violet Herron with Electro Damage (parry an attack, gains concerto energy after use) 2 1* echo with atk % main stat All echoes with Void set or you can go half Void and half Moonlit set so YinLin can generate energy fast or even half Lingering Tunes so the echo can be shared to other dps units. the downside to going all Void set is only Electro units get to take full advantage of it mainly YinLin and Calcharo (Yuanwu to a smaller extent but he benefits more from def stat than atk)
One thing you completely ignored is that most of the "long animation echoes" are pretty fun to use. I agree that in speed running swap cancelling is good. But let's be honest, outside of sweaty keyboard mashing no one really cares if a rotation took an extra couple seconds. And it's really entertaining to transform into a cool monster and bash on things mid battle, at least in my opinion that's quite the important factor to consider.

So, i am guessing the top tier list in no particular order would be: -Fellian berlinger for anemo dps -Thundering memphis/Tempest mephist for electro dps - That weekly boss, bell bourne for a support like healer or buffer - dreamless for havoc dps - cyan heron for any elemental sub dps if u get the element and piece set correctly.

All echoes with Void set
or you can go half Void and half Moonlit set so YinLin can generate energy fast or even half Lingering Tunes so the echo can be shared to other dps units.
the downside to going all Void set is only Electro units get to take full advantage of it mainly YinLin and Calcharo (Yuanwu to a smaller extent but he benefits more from def stat than atk)

One thing you completely ignored is that most of the "long animation echoes" are pretty fun to use. I agree that in speed running swap cancelling is good. But let's be honest, outside of sweaty keyboard mashing no one really cares if a rotation took an extra couple seconds. And it's really entertaining to transform into a cool monster and bash on things mid battle, at least in my opinion that's quite the important factor to consider.
Haven't watch the full vid, yet i am gonna guess it and edit my comment later after i watch the full video. So, i am guessing the top tier list in no particular order would be:
-Fellian berlinger for anemo dps
-Thundering memphis/Tempest mephist for electro dps
- That weekly boss, bell bourne for a support like healer or buffer
- dreamless for havoc dps
- cyan heron for any elemental sub dps if u get the element and piece set correctly.
