just to give my view, as a christian, im watching this because i love to see that God is moving in to bars, in to the streets, into concerts, into conventions, and is recieving glory. i love to praise him with all sorts of music. :)
I will be listening to mewithoutYou for the rest of my life. Their music really highlights the everyday struggles of a Christian. Thier ever-changing music fits my every-changing life. Thanks mewithoutYou.
It was a great time to be alive. For anyone reading in the future, yes I did think we had the most glorious music of all time at these shows. I was proud to be there. This is a classic

i think all you people need to stop fighting about religion or no religion. atheism or christianity...its blinding you all from the beauty that is this music. i mean for god sake thats what music is all about, its the worlds universal language that brings men from all corners of the world and with all different ideals together.
so i actually got to see these guys perform a couple weeks ago with Circa Survive. After that experience and then watching this video, i can see how much theyve grown in their performing on stage. They were fucking amazing live and it was the first time i had even heard of them. Cant believe this was uploaded 10 years ago!
seeing them live summer '09 is by far one of the most fond memories i have the pleasure to hold. their music and performance has touched me in a way i cannot express, i only hope they know they have done so to me and so many others. may love and peace forever carry them under it's wing.
After seeing them and hearing him speak live and in live videos it’s so evident to me Aaron is on the spectrum. I truly believe this is one of the reasons his lyrics are so unique and beautiful written.
By the way "ChipsVoid" I give your comment a thumbs up,cause thats a great example and if people truly knew what Aaron was about or read what he has written they would see that he is truly a man of God.You can see it from him at Cornerstone or just at some club in a city!
I agree, he feels he's dirt compared to god. He hates himself but loves god so much, it comes together as a dark but optimistic message. I think they are great at establishing moods to their songs.

"The trap I set for you has caught my leg instead"/"I do not exist". The song is such an earwig. Great way to really have people wonder about you when singing the lyrics in a Wal*Mart and whistling the harp part. Right up there with Skateaway by Dire Straits and Come Together by The Beatles..

Nah dude, they were good in the intial era, but it doesnt age well imo.
I had the good fortune to be present for this .... it was one of the most incredible moments of live music I've ever witnessed.
