You’re a braver man than I riding at night in Michigan… I just got back from a couple day trip. Just as we got back near town 3 deer ran out of the corn on one side of the road and went into a kinda residential area on the other side. Luckily my buddy and are not speedsters and we we’re able to stop just in time. And this was at 4:00 pm bright and sunny! I remember I had these crazy big round PIAA driving lights on my BMW. Rarely used them but man were they ever unbelievably bright, it seemed like you could see for a mile down the road!
Great video! You can definitely see a huge difference in the high beam!! We have a couple of their lights and like you said, excellent quality. Thanks for the comparison, it really helps when making a decision.
I was really surprised at how much better the stock headlight on my 2017 RoadGlide Ultra was when I adjusted it up. Looks a lot better than the CD one too but to each their own. Really well produced video. Ride safe BoDean.

Thanks for the honesty BoDean. I have actually been debating between finding driving/fog lights and the upgraded headlamps. There have been a few times I really needed low and wide for fog. I may still consider the headlight since it's a nice looking piece, it just might not be my first light purchase.

Nice install. I like having the signals integrated. For myself, I would change out and add other lights first, since I don't ride that much at night. But it is still an awesome product. 👍
Nice breakdown of the light. It does look good. It's nice that you mention how different people may use the light. I rarely use my high beams. Honestly don't remember the last time I would have used them. So knowing there isn't much difference, I'll bump this towards the bottom of my light wish list. :)
I did go back and look at the video and it does look like the low beams do go wider. That said, my feedback was based off when I got off the bike. I really do like the headlight but think the investment and some their other lights may be best

Now the CD headlight is really sweet looking so you’re gonna get more attention from maybe a safety aspect, maybe? Lol. At least the high beam for some night riding / back country roads will make for a better journey.

🛑🛑 Bob….The Vision X Headlight is on my bike (CVO Ultra Limited). The Vision X is an LED Headlight, that is very, very bright LED Headlight. There is also “pig tail” that is offered by Vision X, that allows the Low Beam and the High Beam on at the same time; offering Great Vision. The “pig tail” is Plug And Play and requires No Tools. In your case with the Roadglide, using the Vision X, with High Beams Up and using the “pig tail” (on both lights) you would have an additional 2 lights on when running with your lights up. Just Food For Thought….😀👍
After installing mine I wasn’t really impressed initially, then I realized the beam height was way too low. Once I adjusted the light to the proper height the difference was remarkable. Check your adjustment.
All Harley's come from the factory with the light way to low. I had to adjust mine. A buddy of mine just adjusted his yesterday on his 2022 street glide

Not sure about the new Cd one but the stock one vertically adjusted with a Phillips screw below it.

I have had this headlamp on my Road Glide Special for three years, it really is a big improvement over a stock HD LED headlight.
I like it for sure am always been a Custom Dynamics fan

Taking off the fairing on the new Goldwing is a PITA compared to your HD. I guess not everything can be easy haha
