Heidenheim an der Brenz (Swabian: "Hoidna", is a town in eastern Baden-Württemberg on the border with Bavaria, about 17 kilometers south of Aalen and 33 kilometers north of Ulm. It is the district seat and largest city in the district of Heidenheim and, after Aalen and Schwäbisch Gmünd, the third-largest city in the East Württemberg region.

My Mom is from Heidenheim. Met my Dad who was in service in 1956. She enjoyed watching. Said it has changed a lot. Unfortunately she has never made it back to Germany. We are in the US.

I was an exchange student there in 1986 and I've kept in touch with my host family ever since. I was there four years ago and had a great time exploring the town and getting to see my host family. I spotted Cafe Am Market and City Blumen on your walk! Two of my favorite places there. I love Heidenheim.
