Great video and reviews! I have been using a carbon fiber Gitzo tripod for both spotting scope support and for shooting off of. It isn't as tall as the ones you reviewed and I can only shoot off of it sitting down here in our mountainous country with steep side hills and we have to be weight conscious. I have a spotting scope mount on my rifle and this set up allowed me to take a nice California big horn at 310 yards comfortably.
What's your thoughts on the Vortex Radian tripod with the two different head style designs? I do like the Fat Boy, but just ordered the Vortex and additional head before I watched your video.

I have a fat boy and a leophoto. Leophoto is a nice tripod, but the fatboy is nicer, smoother deploying, and more sturdy.
