It's awful when people feel they can steal another's work but it happens all the time with artists and crafters on youtube. Not just youtube I'm sure but any site. Luckily it is just a very small number of people who do that so I'm glad you didn't quit and have it ruined for everyone!!! Remember you have MANY MANY people who are just so grateful that you are willing to share your knowledge and talent with others, and you help inspire many people!! I had been in to beading years ago but got away from it, and just recently while turning a spare room into an art/craft studio for myself I found my big tote of beads and it got me to look on youtube for beading tutorials to see if I could learn some new techniques. You have inspired me BIG TIME!!! I plan to do a few of your tutorials but I'm also already looking at my bead collection (not NEARLY as big as yours but not small either) and thinking of what I can design as well especially with a few techniques I have learned from you!!! When someone compliments a piece I made, I always thank them and refer to the vid or magazine or website i got the pattern from. I'm not looking to start a YT channel, but your videos (and the other designers I follow) really are helping me to become a designer myself. I look carefully at the finished piece and then try to guess how it's put together. I'm right more than wrong these days and have all kinds of ideas for stuff I want to make. I do have a hint for you, though. Since you get a lot of beads from taking apart thrifted items, I have found that it's a very good idea to clean the glass beads after taking them off of things. I have been doing this a lot since my mother in law passed and I got all of her costume jewelry. Many of the pieces were filthy from just being in the jewelry boxes for decades! The glass ones get 20 mins. in my husband's sonic cleaner. I can't believe how much dirt and grime come off of them! The holes get full of funky gunk, too. Gemstone beads get different treatment according to suggestions on the internet. Some of the glass pearls were unsalvagable because the finish was coming off and it won't seem to come completely off even after cleaning so I can't use them as just round beads, either.

I luv the earrings, but I was having a hard time making them, especially the step with the very last drop. Your nails were getting in the way of me trying to do this. So I made just the one and made it into a pendant.

I have a question, will monofilament work on this design? You're probably getting tired of me asking you this question. I just don't have alot of options to work with. I found some thread fishing line in a Walmart a long time ago and the only color available was green, I can use to practice with if nothing else.

Thats awful if someone does that they should acknowledge you as creator, unless they add or changed something, then you would have been the inspiration & should still be acknowledged. They are AWFUL, designing is hard work.

I love your work but your nails are driving me crazy it's hard to see what you're doing and watching you keep dropping your work. Their just to long.
