A powerful program with amazing possibilities. But why unpopular? I have to get to know him because it's worth it. I'm waiting for more guides from you 🤔
My simple answer would be yes. Since diving into 3DCoat I stopped using Painter. I also stopped using ZBrush ( 3DCoat is way more intuitive ) As for Maya ( my go to ), I only use it for poly modeling. So my advice ? Check it out because you are missing out

I just picked up 3dcoat and have been having a lot of fun with it.

does it have a free non commercial version for all or only for students?
Why such a great application like this is never mentioned by the game industry? Somebody knows which companies currently use 3dcoat on their pipeline?
the software is so amazing with amazing features , like copy a part of model and paste it in another model it is amazing and other amazing features

But I know Maya, zbrush, substance... Do I really wanna spend weeks learning another program with a complex UI 😁
