You might also remember her song, Smile, which was written for her grandmother and Power of love (sung by Stephanie Mills). She's fought and won against ovarian cancer, and also tumors to her lungs. She's pretty much responsible for the rebirth of the Isley brothers when she wrote and produced Smooth Sailin and Spend the night (she was also married to Ron) There's so much that I can say about this beauty...you wouldn't believe how humble and sweet she is outside of her being an amazing artist.
