Alton Towers Firework Display and rides at night. A visit with Russ and Adele to Alton Towers to enjoy the fireworks and selected rides in the dark. This is almost the full 30 minute show, although a few bits are missing. The camera focus is not always clear as it struggled to cope with the spot lights, being hand held, plus we were stood near the speakers which has distorted the audio in places. The show was amazing and I have fond memories of watching it. Air was opened in 2002 and the show was based around the new rollercoaster. It tells the story of the 4 elements fighting with each other for supremacy before finally all working together to celebrate the new rollercoaster and put on a final show. Faces of each element, Fire, Earth, Water and Air (Wind!) were projected on to a spray of water from the Alton Towers lake. The annoying date/time stamp does disappear thankfully after 3 minutes, just briefly returning part way through the video.
After the show there is some additional footage of us queuing and riding the log flume, walking to Nemesis and Air with some footage of the queuing areas and rides in action.
