I recommend quarter horses if you're doing just pleasure or western. But it depends on what you're wanting to do with the horse.
Edie'sVids I would recommend an Appaloosa horse or paint but a quarter horse is good to. But it depends on what u want to do with the horse.
Avaloves horses+ Appaloosa horses and paints are colorings of a horse, not a breed.

I always use spurs on my horse couse because some time in her life she must have been hit by a whip so she is really scared of them... but I’m working on that with her😊

I use a figure eight brace to keep my shoulders back I got it for free when I broke my collar bone riding lol!
Love it and I also struggle with the rising I have struggle with my heels cause my legs are so long for my age and also I have to do it a lot because my horse is unschooled so she gallops if I want her to canter

I ride in spurs as well. I also use a whip. I do not use them a lot. I have to use it more on one horse then the other
