(S.D.R IS WRITING) Here in my hometown of CONCORD,NH ; GREEN LIGHTS are on our Hospital Campus Security Vehicles. Our Fire Department Vehicles including the Penacook Volunteer Rescue Squad Vehicles and the P.O.V.'s are ALL RED,WHITE,YELLOW & Some have AMBER LIGHTS too. (NO BLUE LIGHTS THOUGH THAT'S POLICE)
No and no. Having said that, most people are pretty good about pulling over for them but you do run into the occasional people who won't. Speeding, I mean as long as you're reasonable about it, most cops don't bother you. If you're doing 20 or 30 km/h over the limit, you're gonna get nailed.
Depending on where you are located some countries use a Solid Green Light Bar or Beacon 🚨 to mark there Ambulance 🚑 instead of Red or Blue. I'm not sure which country dose that. There's a Police Department in California somewhere who uses Green & Red Lights on there Police Vehicles because Green is more visible from a further distance than Blue .
Very glad we get to run red and white lights and siren on our povs. They trust a volunteer to drive a engine with lights and sirens, but don’t trust them to get to the station safely. Give them green lights lol
Im drafting a new law to change this, its time a new standard is set especially when they say every second counts..so why doesnt it count getting to the station.
In ontario and most of canada, it means a volunteer firefighter is responding to the station for a call however they are called "courtesy lights" meaning no special privileges are granted and drivers are not legally obligated to pull over.
Great video. That's what our department at just about every call. But blue lights instead of green
Lights looking really good in the silver charger think I'm going to do the same set up in mine

Sadly departments are moving away from sirens, some still have them but more rare then ever.
do people have to yield for the green lights and do you get the permission to speed and run redlights?

@johnarat9618 im drafting a new bill here for ontario, its time we set a new standard. "Every second counts" should apply to getting to the station
What do the green flashing lights mean?
