In this video tutorial we will learn how to make a Cellini spiral, and how to alternate the Cellini spiral, to get the zig zag effect on the beadwork.
The bead pattern I made is quiete simple and you can try to follow the tutorial even if you are a beginner in making DIY beaded jewelry.
If you need to know how to end the Cellini spiral, or if you need to know how to turn your Cellini spiral into earrings, bracelets or necklaces, you can watch all the tutorials in this playlist

    MINI BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Sara Spoltore, and I started posting beading videos in 2009, on my italian TH-cam Channel, under the nickname of Sarubbest.
I love making DIY jewelry, and the most I love to share the things I know about beading because this is the best way to feed my passion about DIY jewelry, and sharing also improves my skills in beading. So Italy wasn't enough for me, and in 2010 I decided to open an English TH-cam Channel to publish the English version of every Italian video since that moment. I know my English is sometimes wrong and my accent is weird, but sharing, hoping to inspire you, learning from you, all these things feed my creativity, and my soul, and so I hope to reach everyone of you, inspiring everyone of you, going beyond words, to give you a little piece of my enthusiasm about beading and living.
Thank you for everything, thank you for let this happens every day, with every videos.
So, for now that's all, see you soon on the next video!
    Sara.

Sara, this is the best Cellini spiral video I've watched, and I've watched all LOT of them; love it you show the beads up close so I can see each bead and the thread path clearly, your method doesn't need a turn-around, which is genius! Thank you so much!!

Hi Sara, thanks for a different way to change directions when doing Cellini Spiral. I have seen this taught a couple of times and was a bit complicated. Your way makes sense. This is an easier method. This is similar to working flat Cellini Spiral.

yes, you are right, very similar to flat Cellini ;)

Thank you so much for this! I've been doing cellini spiral for years and only just recently saw some examples of this zigzag pattern and I had no idea how it was done. Your tutorials are great!

Thanks so much for the terrific tutorial. I'm so glad to know the technique can be done without changing the direction of the thread. I get very slow when I have to change direction of the thread. Can't get into a rhythm. Feel like I can do this now, knowing how not to change thread direction. Yay!

    hi Sara
    thanks for this procedure
I need your help, I have tried this but haven't been able to get the zigzag correctly with 2 different bead sizes, could you please make a video on just 2 sizes or help me with a step by step tutorial. ..
    Thanks for understanding

when you use SEED bead size 11 and DELICA bead size 11 is it for visual because they are made different or be cause of colour choice? I hope this makes sense.

    • @SaraSpoltore
      @SaraSpoltore 8 ปีที่แล้ว

Delica beads 11 are a little bit smaller than seed beads 11, but you can choose to replace all the seed beads 11 with delica beads and viceversa ;)
