One thing I like to examine on my healing logs is overhealing. As with any healing stat you need to understand the context for it to really be valuable, but if you see that you have a large amount of overhealing that means your heals are effectively just costing more mana than necessary. If this is the case it might be good to examine why and alter things accordingly. However, if you compare a cata disc priest to a cata resto druid, the druid is going to have a lot of overhealing due to dot ticks past max hp on targets they are spamming and the disc priest is going to have low overhealing because of atonement, PoM and shield glyph. I just think it's a valuable metric to get the most out of your mana.
I have not healed since TBC Classic and thought about jumping back into it in my Druid recently. All these videos have been great and actually make me want to heal again, especially the Druid video. TY for the hard work.
@@jasonbaker8649 I have very little experience with holy priest tbh. I would look at lightwaters logs, the other priest in my guild. He cranks playing the low mastery high haste renew playstyle. I might do a guide but i feel less confident given how little playtime I have with the spec.
@@doublezug7193 Thanks appreciate it. I main disc but doing some nef/ascentdant council prog and getting the shadow to go disc. Was suprised that there is basically no guides anywhere on youtube
