    Another question, I've seen some specialties recruit through the msra exam and one of the requirements to start the specialties is gmc registration, so if an img is not working in the UK but has already obtained gmc registration through the mrsa or mrcp route and not the plab route, are the license the same regardless of the route used? Or are the licenses obtained through mrsa and mrcp only specific for those getting into the surg and physician specialty?

      GMC License for all routes is the same.

    Sir my daughter cleared plab one and moving to uk for plab 2 in november. What is the procedure for getting clinical attachments there. After hearing your class it is not easy. So what is the solution.

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      For clinical attachments, she will have to apply to the HR department of respective hospitals requesting availability. It's best to plan them just after PLAB 2 so that she can complete it during the same stay in the UK.Best wishes for PLAB 2

    now that passing mrcs and mrcp exams gives one gmc registration, can one use the registration to apply for junior doctor positions or fy2 or non-training positions to get used to the system instead of getting directly into the respective training/registrar jobs?

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      yes, they can apply for both training and non training posts

    How will be the opportunity for DNB with FRCS glasgow ophthalmology with completed fellowship in cornea subspecialty, and working as a consultant in a large private hospital chain 11 years post fellowship

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You are already eligible for GMC registration, so search for consultant jobs and apply. Most Ophthalmology are private nowdays so limited NHS jobs.

    Sir, is this same for DCH from India + MRCPCH. ? Is IELTS compulsory, even if we get an MRCPCH for applying jobs?

    As other guiding platforms say, it seems only those who have gone through plab route are able to achieve cct and settle in uk, some kind of disadvantage if we opt for md+ mrcp route. Do you get what they are saying, just reply if you need that video I’ll dm.

      I have not done PLAB but have received CCT, consultant job and British citizenship. However I agree that's true for surgical specialities.

    Is mrcp without md/mcps worth it?? I cant do training in my home country but i wanna do mrcp please suggest. And does mrcgp int have any scope anywhere eg in gulf etc.

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      MRCP itself is a pg diploma and has value. MRCGP int has no value in the UK

    Sir im sure that i wanna do my internal medicine training in india but im confused between MD medicine + MRCP and IMT (in india by jrcptb accredited hospitals) + MRCP, which one would be a better option for me considering that my long term goal is to get into a cardiology higher speciality training in UK (and i would also like to know if paying the extra bucks for the IMT as it is 22LPA as compared to the MD medicine course which costs just around 2 lakhs is actually worth it and would it give me a substantial advantage while securing a training post in cardiology in UK)
    Thank you sir 🙏
    Ive been following all your videos and they have helped me immensely i couldnt thank you enough

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      The greatest advantage of International IMT is that you can avoid alternative core competency form. This means at least saving 1-2 year in UK hospitals trying to get it signed. So its worth the money.

    Hi doctor suman
    I am dermatologist from india practicing in middle east with total experience of 5 years post md. What should be best route if i dont have to do cct currently..if i pass mrcp what should be my next step for getting a job as specialist in dermatology. And what are the chance of being hired from nhs as overseas dermatologist

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      With MRCP, you are eligible to be hired as a dermatology registrar. Then you have to apply for ST4 dermatology and complete training to get a CCT. Alternatively you can do CESR if not keen on entering training again.
