Nice breakdown for beginners. Keep in mind, slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. So if you feel more in control on a bike setup for the terrain you're actually on, you're going to ride faster, easier
i love the channel and ive seen 2 vids, i had a kx65 when i was 12 for a first bike, and ive wanted to get back into it, and your vids have helped a lot, im goin for a crf125r and i ride in the woods, only because i already know the basics of everything from riding friends bikes
People should Note that there is a a range in between MX and Enduro... Cross Cou try bikes. The KTM xc, Husky TX/FX Ranges, Yamaha X/FX range, Kawasaki X range and Honda RX range. They are made for fast open trail riding. The Enduro machines are actually far more suited for what we ride here in Souther Africa. Technical Trail riding
Mx bikes don't necessarily make more power than enduro bikes. But they have different power curves. Personally I would not bother trying to make an enduro bike out of an MX bike again. Tried hard to do it with a Kx250. Ultimately I gave up and got a KTM300.
Stock I totally agree. However I’d you modify it they can be made into great trail bikes. I love the power distribution on the power on mx bikes so I’d rather just change some things to set it up better for the woods

Also, enduro bikes have a lower 1st gear, a headlight, more common to have electric start, and an 18in rear wheel which gives better traction
Yea those are all very useful for the woods 😁
you deserve more like
Thank you!

Yeah it’s definitely not easy but if done correctly it’s a great experience
First
Word
Mx bikes suck on the trail...to many drawbacks if your serious...the opposite is true as well. Just get an Enduro
