Thanks for sharing some pieces from your beautiful collection. Lovely coins. The St Gaudens double eagle is possibly the most beautiful coin ever struck
I have a type coin set. From 1800 to modern coins as well as ASE and commemorative coins. What it didn’t have was a gold type page. I, at the time and still do, have the Whitman coin show 3x a year. So, as I was flush with money I went down and bought a gold type page and some gold coins to go in it. So my first coins to fill that page were raw and I finally filled it at an auction. Which were all graded.
I look forward to watching your channel grow. You provide quality information and have a diverse collection of gold and silver. Keep up the good work and people will continue to notice!
Pre33s are great numismatic pieces to collect. Difficult to find here at affordable premiums so I dun have any. Awesome to see your collection NS. Cheers 👍🏻😊
Beautiful coins but very expensive for the average person. You also have to worry about counterfeits out there so you never know if you're getting a genuine example. I managed to purchase a couple of the smaller gold denominations but might have to stop there. Perhaps one day I will look into getting more but idk.
That's fantastic, there is just something special about gold in general, but old US gold takes it to another level for the history lover in me. Thanks for watching!
The only gold Panama Balboas that I know of is the 100 balboa from 1975-1977. The commemorative Panama Pacific coin would however be considered pre-33. It's very rare, and very expensive.
I've seen another TH-cam channel claim that the number of gold coins that were actually turned in in response to executive order 6102 was actually quite small amounting to around 25 percent of the known gold coins minted.
" one of my favorites" you say this several times. What is your objective in collecting these. Will you give them to your kids ? Buried with them ? I ask because many think that their valuables will somehow meld with their very essence of physical existence. Great video thanks
That's terrible, people thought they were being patriotic by turning in their gold. Reality was Roosevelt was violating the constitution by outlawing gold ownership. Thanks so much for watching!
I find the old USA coins are very beauty and piece of history I stack just those old gold coins they over lived from melting down & I must protect this coins in my hand and they will lives forever
From what I heard Theo. Roosevelt didn't want the "In God We Trust" motto on the coins because they would be used in brothels, gambling houses, and for other nefarious purposes.
That may be true. I also heard that Roosevelt considered it sacrilegious to have that motto on money. Money being considered inherently evil by some. Thanks for watching!
I perfect the pre-33's gold coins over the new gold coins myself. I've just recently to obtain pre-33's coins. I've not yet gotten the pre-33's of the 3$,10$ or the 20$ gold coins as of this time. Gold is not the only thing I have. But do enjoy the silver Morgan's and Prace dollars as well. I look at silver as silver of any type, collectable. In any form. But I was drawn to video was the tile, there were facts in it most people would be mostly to know or be aware of. And I thank you for your incredible information.
Nice display of pre-33. Great history lessons, too!
Thanks for watching!

Pre-33 is great to stack / collect. Seems like its getting a bit more difficult to come by as well. Thanks for watching!

Great video thanks
Enjoy collecting the Pre 33 gold , the premiums at my LCS are still very reasonable, easy choice over new gold.
That's good to hear, thanks for watching!
what would be an acceptable premium for pre 33
It's like listening to the Bob Ross of gold. 😊
Very nice👌
Thanks for watching!
Nice gold! 👍
Thank u sir.
@@NapoleonicStacking 🤗
I have both Indian heads, 2.50, and five dollar, also a Double eagle 20 dollar St gaudins and a 10 dollar non indian head but I really want one.
My grandparents were told they couldn’t keep ANY gold…The Crime of ‘33
That's terrible, people thought they were being patriotic by turning in their gold. Reality was Roosevelt was violating the constitution by outlawing gold ownership. Thanks so much for watching!
I don’t have any of those. All are very nice.
I hold these mainly for my type set. I wouldn't stack pre 33 on a regular basis unless I can get it close to spot. Thanks for watching!

You are exactly right, I feel like I'm not just owning, but preserving a piece of history. Thanks so much for watching, and stack on!
