2022 Nine Emperor Gods Festival 九皇爺 Celebration Ampang Baru - Malaysia Night Street Food Tour

The 2022 Nine Emperor Gods Festival is upon us again so this is a dedicated food tour in a famous Kow Wong Yeh temple in Ampang, Malaysia. The festival usually kicks on the eve of the 9th Lunar Month and it goes on for a week. Devoted followers of the Taoist faith will usually commit to a nine day vegetarian diet to commemorate this event. Taoist temples will usually hold prayers and parades during this period.
Interesting fact : It always rains during this period so bring along an umbrella with you!
