“Dil ka kya kasoor” was a musical hit. It was a low budget production. The star of this movie its music. There was nothing special about story, screenplay, star cast, dialogue, performances, or any other aspect. Music was a top draw and the movie did some form of business. Pruthvi inspite of those good looks was never a star material with action hero’s like Ajay, Akshay, Sunil, and a bunch of others around. There was too much competition even in the b-grade movies and he was not good enough to survive. Not surprised that he didn’t went on to keep working as he didn’t have a strong screen presence, or good with action or dialogue delivery. He’s fortunate to be remembered for his presence in a musical hit. Of course he had choices to do some good roles in good banners or small screen if he persisted for a while.
Destiny play an important role in every actor's career, beside that one need to make clever choices to stay ahead in competition.
Not only film industry, har jagah chahe government offices ho chahe private,, schools, companies, industrial area ho sab jagha politics or competition bahut he...

While Dil Ka kya Kasoor released, I watched the movie In Theatre , The movie was so good that I loved movie so much and the song's were Mind-blowing and so entertaining. The actor was so handsome and cute looking at that time I thought This actor would go so long but prediction went totally wrong . Same prediction I did also in Jaan tere Naam but Ronit Roy went flop at that time .

Your research is very poor. Dil Ka Kya Kasoor was Divya Bharati's first movie to release and she was not at all known to Bollywood industry audiences although she was a big star down south. So Prithvi and Divya both were new comers. The movie was a flop and in her interview Divya has mentioned how shattered she was when the movie flopped. Even her mother's interview has a mention of how Divya went into depression post Dil Ka Kya Kasoor, however post that Divya bounced back with Vishwatma and Shola Aur Shabnam that released one after another. The biggest draw for Dil Ka Kya Kasoor was Lawrence D'souza and Nadeem Sharavan as this was one of the movies that released post Saajan and the songs were super duper hit.
