Basil and garlic mayo
1 whole egg
1 1/2 tsp water
3 cloves smashed garlic
1 cup avocado oil
1.5 oz basil
2.5 oz Parmigiano reggiano
1 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil
1.Using a food processor first blend the egg, water and garlic for 1 minute
2.Slowly stream in the avocado oil while blending
3. add the basil, parmesan, salt and red wine vinegar and blend for 30 seconds
4. finally add the olive oil while blending

Baked it for the first time on parchment paper almost a year ago, never went back!
Hmmm. I tried to bake the bacon and while it was easier it actually tasted bland. All of the flavorful salty fat was on the parchment instead of on the bacon like when pan fried. Pan fried takes more attention but tastes 1000x better

Actually tried making this, the best damn sandwich I’ve had in literal years
I've converted to baking my bacon since I've found I can fit twice as much in a baking sheet than in a skillet. It's also crispier and if you line the pan with tinfoil you don't have to worry about disposing the grease: just ball it up and throw it away.
And you don't have to tend it the way you do making it in a frying pan
Parchment paper better than foil try it will be your new best friend

Bake your bacon? Absolutely not. How am I gonna make gravy tomorrow if I bake my bacon today? I recommend low heat and flipping that bacon compulsively. High heat if you're in a hurry but you may burn it a bit. But save that grease and make biscuits and gravy the right way with no sausage

I tried avocado on a BLT and it is honestly amazing it really gives it that extra bit of bite and pairs well with the saltiness of the bacon
Put the lettuce to the bread before the tomatoes to keep it crisp.... adding salt to tomato extracts the moisture and then putting it on the bread will make it soggy. Just a tip. Nice job tho👏

I can confirm that oven baked bacon is the best and only way you should ever cook bacon. It's so much easier and comes out absolutely perfect. I do thick cut bacon in the oven for like 15 minutes. Turn once halfway through. Amazing
