Enjoyed this version of the plot. I bought everything the actors were selling. ML saw FL wasn't malicious in her schemes, she was just trying to keep her and her child safe. I appreciate all punishments were done off camera. FL dispatched all her enemies. With a complete and happy ending...on to the next!!!
Although female lead is scheming she does not have the typical cold calculating personality , she is quite expressive and lively which is something refreshing this version brings to the character. She does love her own son and is quite generous with her servents and in turn her servents are very loyal to her and intelligent. Female lead can't be entirely blamed for all the scheming after all she did it mainly to protect herself and her child and to ensure her own survival. What I like about this version is that both female lead and male lead have a nice well rounded grown of character towards the end. She comes to truly love him after seeing his loyalty in the end and that moves her heart. And male lead comes to trust her because his love is finally mutual.
I enjoyed this version cause the FL not only won the MLs heart and defeated the rest of the women in the harem, but she also taught him how to be a better emperor.
The ML in this version is handsome and the FL here is a little childish but still on point with her schemes 😅😍❤ This version is a little bit rom-com compared to the 1st one that I watched, it's like a full pledge revenge. The FL there was like the OG scheming queen, she's serious serious with her revenge schemes. She's always seriously calm and talk in low toned voice and when she plots something she's the greenest green tea of them all (if you already watched that version you'll know what I mean) 😂 Tho, same story but a different flow.

Recommended!! If you have watched same story ,this one is not just end when she becomes a queen, other version FL doesn't really have any feelings towards ML , this one at the end she developed her feelings, i was about to watch this with 2X speed/ fast forward since I have watched same story too many versions many 3, 4,5 !! But then FL her personality of this character is different, she's cute and the emperor ML's dad 12:00 treats him like a baby 😂and FL in this version have 2smart maids.
2FLs weakness was that she acted based on emotions. She let her feelings get the better off her as a result the FL could easily see though her. Revenge is better served cold. Problem with her she rushed stuff instead of planning her plot well. Unlike the FL who was more clam and collected in her scheming, she never panicked and never took action based on anger, jealousy or love.
I just watched the exact same plot as this. But the actors in the other drama are more graceful and soft spoken. Even more beautiful and handsome . The other one titled: "After marrying the prince, I began to change my fate"
the 1st and 2nd version thatI watch, crown princess wasn’t naturally evil, she was just betrayed by the ML who was also manipulated by FL, but FL just want to survive, ML made an impossible monogamous promise which is impossible in this era especially when he is a prince soon to be emperor, he is a hypocrite, gullible, fickle man and enjoying the polyamorous life, anyways crown princess was dumb to believe an impossible promise, and in this version she is evil, but I like seeing FL being the greentea so satisfying😂
I like dramas with this theme, because usually the actors are handsome and beautiful 👀❤️ ( That's how it should be) hehehe The ending is happy, even though we all know... HISTORY SAYS there is no place for "true love" in the palace 🤔
Of the 3 versions I’ve seen, this is one probably the most childish/youthful version. Between the baby faces of the 2 leads, the lightly more childlike antics, and the more lighthearted moments (at the beginning), this definitely had less of the seductive/sensual feel of the other ones. Still a fun plot with a few differing twists to keep it interesting. 7/10 would recommend.

I’ve watched many drama in this version they always took side of crown queen but this one from the start he was clear mind even he knows everything that FL queen is pretending to be week but still smart this is much better than other verion
This is the 3rd version i watched and the emperor acting like old father scolding and nagging his son while pulling his chin repeatedly to get his focus is really something rarely happened in C drama 😂😂😂. Good to see the interaction of FL and ML where FL slowly gain his trust and love. Moral of the story, never believe in a promise spoken during the whim of love especially for someone in a position of crown prince, the future emperor.
Am I the only one who pities the crown princess ? Although she was cruel but the royal rule made her so. She was pressurized to give birth even she cant and also had to accept her loved one marrying another woman to give birth to child (this must have pierced her heart). Even though FL only tried to survive but she distanced the prince and crown princess and made them misunderstood . What is more worse than bearing these things ?
Nah, if she just left the girl alone, the crown prince would have never consummated the marriage. If she didn't try to maim her, the crown prince wouldn't have his heart turn cold towards her. If she hadn't try to literally kill her 3 times, he wouldn't have finally given up on her, and if she didn't try to kill her and the baby she wouldn't have been sent to the could palace. All of of this was her own fault and lack of trust in the man she claim to love. If she trusted him, he would still be childless and the fl would still be a virgin.

She figured she 'd better get more heirs for him since he was still too soft to get rid of Ling Yue, so FL and new grandson, in her opinion, might not survive.
The FUNnieST line in the drama (and there were many): Pi Sia, I just gave birth. I'm tired. I'm going to bed. The woman bled, gave birth prematurely, sat up in bed after a faint to conduct a poor-me show, then got up and dressed, WALKED to the Cold Palace for a final Green Tea confrontation with the villainess, walked back with His Majesty to her pace while giving him the cold shoulder--all this within an hour of giving birth BWAHAHAHAHA. I'd say she was a little bit tired!
This is the first time seeing a normal relationship btw emperor and son. Bt sadly they got only one screen space together. For a change price was more comfortable with emperor than empress 😂
