Barbari is a Persian flatbread which has always been one of my favorite breads since childhood 🥰🥰🥰
It has a soft and chewy texture with a golden crust and is so delicious!
Enjoy it for breakfast, lunch, sandwiches and really at any time!

My mother made these for a couple of years but she had no idea about the recipe , she simply used a dough recipe she already used for many years and just shaped them like this and placed them directly on the oven rack and voila , awesome stuff , she also had jars filled with mixed oregano , sesame and poppy seeds and just dumped them on the dough
CAN YOU PLEASE TELL US THE AMOUNT of each ingredient that you mix with the flour...and for how long do you bake it and at what Temperature...?

I made this flatbread and it was super easy…..ready in 2 hrs, 20 minutes. I do need to work on the final stretching a mine turned out slightly thicker.
It's supposed to be slightly thick, half an inch

I have never been able to successfully make bread at home. I will try your recipe but I am pretty sure I will fail again!
No you won't, just make sure the yeast is good and the water not too hot, and you are golden, go at it in a positive attitude, sometimes your dough has to sit longer to rise don't rush it 😊

This is not naan... Naan has yogurt in it and doesn't have yeast or a glaze.
@@cyrusp100 noon or naan means bread in general in farsi. We call every kind of bread, noon + the specific name of the bread.
