the reason for why these mobs are so dumb is probably because they have wolf AI, so they think their hitbox is 0.85x0.6x0.6 blocks, which is why the villagers kept getting their heads stuck in the logs on the edges of their houses and why the golem kept getting stuck on the edges of blocks
