      @@themostcraftynurse3914 I’ve tried a couple and when I do glitter on top with resin, it peels away. I tried with sticker paper an it curled up. How did you get it to stay on your projects?

      Have you tried resin to seal? If so, can you share how you went about it?

  • @MadeWithGrace

    Loved the idea, but when I tried it, I noticed the resin does not stick to the cutting board cutouts.

    • @themostcraftynurse3914
      @themostcraftynurse3914  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sorry start with the backside and sand both sides first, You have to get the resin on both sides so that the resumes sticking to itself not the cutting board.

      It’s so interesting because I have these plexi pieces I use for boarders and it peels off but just like these when I put it on as a top coating it stays. It’s all amazing to me. I’m going to start using these.

    What if u wanted it thicker. How would u do so. Oooh ty. N I subscribe to ur channel

    • @themostcraftynurse3914
      @themostcraftynurse3914  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So thicker is honestly hard, I did a video on cutting acrylic but it is only .20mm (fine if you add epoxy) but those you gave to do a little bending. The cricut can not cut to thick material. For thicker pieces I buy them cut. I have got them from Amazon, Ali express, but for fun pieces I use 3rd degree laser. The prices are super good and they have a Facebook page where you can get the svg to hatch the cut. And thank you friend.

    How many passes does the wood veneer setting do to cut the mat through? Thanks for the idea!

    • @themostcraftynurse3914
      @themostcraftynurse3914  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t remember it’s exact passes any wood setting works though, the veneer setting was quick but it cuts straight through first go round do you do not have to reset it.

    So so great. Amazing idea. I love this for my students. So if I’m trying to do these charms for my students as rewards but don’t want to spend the money on epoxy, can u suggest any other type of sealer that won’t make the ink run but keep them somewhat protected??
