Hello, your tip videos are how I recently learned about you and made me subscribe to your channel. I have a couple of questions after finding out you are in with stamping up. Why do they have colors that are only for a limited time? And do you know what color took the place of Close To Cocoa, if there is one? The reason I ask is because I came across the roller ink brand new in the thrift store, and of course I didn't use it for it's intended use 😅 I make faux suede and leather papers and I really love that color. It made that paper truly look like leather. I was so bummed out when I learned that it was a discontinued color. I ended up buying used stamp pads and inks I could find to be able to make as many as I can with that color. I'm not far from being out, and would like to keep making more with that color. Thank you for the great tips in your shorts vids 🤗
Welcome! Stampin' Up! rotates 5 In-Colors every 2 years and we have a full color refresh approx. every 5 to 7 years to keep our color palette fresh and on trend as color really makes a big impact. Close to Coco was one of my favs as well. In our current offering I tend to use Crumb Cake for a lighter brown, Early Espresso for a nice deep brown and Pecan Pie for a medium brown. While they are not the same as the retired color, you can layer to achieve a similar appearance. Hope this helps.
@WendyLeeCreativeLeeYours Thank you so much! It is that roller ink that introduced me to stamping up, and I really like the ink pads and how they open up. I am slowly but surely adding more colors to my collection. It would be nice if they would bring Close to Cocoa, and Ruby Red out of retirement. That was the other roller ink I found too, and it makes gorgeous faux suede paper! I am definitely going to be getting the colors you recommended, thank you again 🤗
Yay! Looking forward to the kit!
