It’s not often that a song speaks to me so deeply and seems to unlock all the emotions…. This is one of those songs. Love this song and his voice. Beautiful. Amazing lyrics .
I know most people won't care but I want to put this out there. A year ago, I was in a horrible place. And had been for almost 4 years by then. I was alone and lost and self harming with multiple suicide attempts. Last Thanksgiving I tried to kill myself. When I came to, I made a promise to myself that I would go a year without selfharming while also going to my prom, graduating high school, getting into university and reaching my 18th birthday. Essentially taking my life back from the years of depression and the events that put me there And I'm glad to say that I'm a less than a week away from keeping this promise.
The Resident brought me here. And I'm glad it did. This music is beautiful.
