This cover was recorded in Aug. 2022, so Emma would have been 14 years old. 'Come Back Home' is from the soundtrack of the film 'Purple Hearts' 2022, and is performed by Sofia Carson.
Emma has done a good job here of capturing and conveying the aching urgency of a young woman not knowing the fate of her deployed Marine lover.
Emma is phenomenal. You are right. She has a very bright future ahead of her.

Such a phenomenal vocal performance for a 14-year old and a very satisfying reaction from you, Dave. You have simply got to see her rendition of "Hallelujah" soon!

Dave, thanks for a very heartfelt reaction, and now you know why people are recommending some of her other work.
Absolute agreement that her Christmas show version of Hallelujah is sublime, th-cam.com/video/9qVHQuPQud0/w-d-xo.html
They didn't give her microphone the volume it deserved, so the middle verse doesn't come over as strongly as she sings it.
She did the first verse of 'White Christmas' with Andre during the Christmas shows in Maastricht a capella, with no guidance note or introduction, it was so soft, gentle yet incredibly powerful,
    th-cam.com/video/ZZEyhG2bEeM/w-d-xo.html
another huge crowd, and you could have heard a pin drop, she absolutely captivated everyone there, and it's so good that she has perfect pitch, Andre could bring the orchestra, then the soprano and tenor voices in, and right through, Emma's voice rang out like a bell, then it winds down to a soft gentle close, with an Andre climax at the end, absolute classic performance, there are longer versions on TH-cam, but because they're phone captures, the sound quality is very variable, this is the official version from Andre.
'All I want for Christmas is you', from the Christmas concerts with Andre th-cam.com/video/xCBOVw7PErU/w-d-xo.html
She did a duet with Helene Fischer on Helene's German TV Christmas spectacular, th-cam.com/video/Pb8qmpcOByc/w-d-xo.html
Emma has idolised Helene for a while, so this was huge for her, but she absolutely nailed it, and didn't let the occasion get to her, once again, she absolutely LIVED the song on that stage with Helene, and for me, she dominated that occasion as well, the audience loved them together,
All 4 of these songs went viral in days, and are now all over 1 million views, Helene Fisher is over 2 million.
A few other songs worth a listen, the first is a Miley Cyrus cover, 'The climb', th-cam.com/video/dOhzlDEuCBg/w-d-xo.html
recorded specially for Tube feeding week, a subject very close to Emma's heart because of her dependence on the two tubes that are feeding her 22 hours a day since she was 9 months old.
A Disney cover, Halle Bailey, from the film The little mermaid, 'Part of your world', th-cam.com/video/itxs-aNyRJY/w-d-xo.html
another song with deep meaning for Emma, because it's talking about Ariel being able to change how she lives, she wants to live out of the sea and move into a different reality, so close to Emmas own situation.
A very different occasion, a concert to remember over 8000 American soldiers who gave their lives liberating Holland in WW2, this is one of three songs Emma sang, and the most powerful, 'Father,' th-cam.com/video/y554GsqMHj8/w-d-xo.html
The sound engineer behind her absolutely lost it during this song, it's very powerful both in terms of the words, and how Emma sings it.
Another song from that same concert, the way Emma deals with the ending is beautiful, she really gets the attention of everyone as they round out the duet, 'You Raise me up', duet with Nico Wouterse
    th-cam.com/video/baH0JQsLo3c/w-d-xo.html
Maybe not for a review, but for you and anyone else reading this to enjoy and realise just how much Emma has truly got into Andre RIeu's heart, a presentation to Emma at the end of the 2023 season, th-cam.com/video/ejmM0Wikmq4/w-d-xo.html
it's not a great video, but the sound track and the two stills at the end convey the very clear deep emotion being felt by everyone, including Emma and Andre, it's in Dutch, but there's an explanation in the comments below, and it's seriously deep emotion, and absolutely beautiful to see and hear, and something Emma will treasure for ever.
I am not ashamed to admit this, at 72, Emma has well and truly got into my heart, and my wife is also more than impressed with everything Emma is doing, she truly is exceptional, and the more we are seeing, the more there is to like, we have tickets for the live show in Dublin, I already know that it will be a very special occasion.
I close with a plea to all your readers,
Please, if you can, join me in making a (regular) donation to Emma's foundation, gastrostars.nl
They are a possible source of treatment or even a cure for people like Emma, it would be a tragedy if Emma had to stop singing because her gastroparesis had become worse, and her foundation may be the way that new treatments or a cure can be found, one of the key members of the team is a surgeon who worked at the Maastricht hospital, she also has gastroparesis herself, and she has been forced to give up her work at the hospital because of a deterioration of her health, so her focus now is the foundation, and with her knowledge, her input will be vital.
It would be so pleasing to hear that they have made some breakthrough that will enable Emma to be free to do what she is so good at, it would mean that her other dream could also become reality, with all she's been through in her short life, that would be so rewarding.

Nice reaction, Dave. It's so nice to hear Emma singing something different. I listen to this performance quit regularly. Such a beautiful voice Emma has (and a sweet smile at the end). Able to produce this on her own from her little home studio. She's really talented ❤.

I love that little smile she gives at the end. She STARTS the same at the end of Voila but is like "oh wait, composure" and it's just a smirk.

Now Emma is 16, still (very) small due to her health issues but what a "worrier" she is. On Friday July 12th the official release from a new orginal song was there: "Dancing on the star". I can strongly recommend to watch the official video as she is introducing the song herself after the shorty introduction by André Rieu. Not only she is a very gifted singer but a good public speaker as well... I mean: speaking in front of a 12000 audience is a challenge for anybody, let alone for a 16 year old. And it was her own request to do it that way, so no pressure from "who ever". And the song? Well listen to it, I would say.

Don't overestimate Emma's age/size at the Maastricht-shows. For one, she was on MASSIVE heels there to boost her height over 1.5 meters, and her stage-makeup/hairdo also makes her seem a totally different person.
Also: Emma said that she manages to use the frustration and anger from her condition, the side-effects/limitations and the bullying she got for them/it to "drive" her performances, which might help explain how so much "force" can come out of her.
On a side-note, I recommend looking at her cover of "Father". It's only available as a phone recording, but it's still an absolutely amazing performance.
