    Gazza is surely the last remaining English footballer that must have felt he belonged to the country. Loved by opposition fans, loved by his own and an absolute global superstar.

    Effing Brilliant!! Had the pleasure of seeing Stuart at Gt. Yarmouth (At my sons tournament) and shook his hand. Ticked off one of my bucket lists actually going to a Gascoigne live event in the VIP seats. I met Paul and had a picture took with him too! When I shook his hand I said to him... " I can't believe this hand was so close to holding up the World Cup" He replied back to me... "Your alright you son."

      The saddest part is, Gazza had all sorts of undiagnosed mental health issues that had been with him from childhood.
      I watched a documentary, actually watched many on him.
      In this particular documentary, they had a psychiatrist analyse his behaviour in training, in matches etc.
      It was already well documented that Gazza had OCD, all the players knew it at the time but this psychiartrist said from he behaviour he can see traits of Tourettes and ADHD.
      Gazza is well known for always pulling silly facial expressions, often out of place in the moment. That was a sign of tourettes.
      I do not remember the wording he used but it was heartbreaking.
      The psychiatrist said something like "Pauls mind would have been like a never ending circus, just always bury and going at 100mph an hour. It is astonishing that he managed to have the football career that he did woth alll that going on in his mind 24 all the time".
      Again, that is not word for word but the message is the same.
      You should listen to his stories from Rangers players.
      Gazza could never sleep.
      The drinking most lilely calmed him down but sadly created his downfall also.
      Gazza was my favourite player as a kid. I am Scottish but moved to England at 3 years old and I supported Rangers from young.
      So, i only think about the Gazza from my childhood when he was player. Best way to think of him.

    • @scottwallace5239
      @scottwallace5239 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @jacksonbow2766 a diagnoses as a kid would've helped him massively, sadly the attitude when he was a kid was 'that stuffs all made up, he's just a restless,naughty kid' so he never got the help
      As someone diagnosed with adhd from a kid, I understand the mental circus and the only easily available thing that helped me massively curb my brain was alcohol and drugs, it slowed my brain down, made me feel 'normal' to the point I abused alcohol, luckily with help I pulled myself out of the hole before I was too far down and now I rarely drink if at all, because it makes me feel too good and hearing stories of gazzas struggle just makes me feel sad that he never managed to get the help until it was too late

      @jatari7871 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What? Celebrity jungle? If he'd had as successful of a TV, post football career, he wouldn't have gone into the jungle. Ppl who go into the jungle are ppl who are either past it or want to get back into the limelight. Gazza would be a good candidate for the jungle. The jungle isn't for ppl who are currently successful.

      @@BigbeeBog-of5xg I suggest you read the report by the independent investigation of peadophilia in Scottish football. Rangers employed more peados than any other club. Watson , Dunne, Chalmers, Neely and Hutchinson. When the victims tried to sue rangers , they were told " that club no longer exists"! That's also in a statement submitted to the Scottish courts. Read the heard archives from march 2019 " Glasgow Rangers sex Abuse shame "! Should read the report , big jock did know. However it was Wallace. Later on , Souness , Smith and Murray covered up the sex abuse by the FIVE coaches employed by Rangers. Celtic don't deny or not did they cover up the sex abuse , it's why Torbett went to jail. It's all in the report. Then there's your king , who was besties with Jimmy Saville, who Lord Mountbatten introduced. Of course , Mountbatten used kincora house to rape children. Then there's his brother , who likes to rape young lassies. Your queen knighted over twenty sex offenders. The UDA who you Mongo's sing songs about ran the largest peadophilia ring in Europe. Now , got to ask arsehole, why aren't you raging at your club , the only club in Glasgow that covered up peadophilia?? Because you don't hate peadophiles, you hate Catholics. So you're a bigot who thinks it's ok to rape children of you're protestant. Now , away read the report 🤡
