@@nomadicmantis You can do so by visiting mystery islands and inviting villagers to your island before setting down the three plots. I unintentionally did this when I first started playing 😆

These builds are so creative! I've been really struggling with what to do with my river mouths, and I feel like I've finally got some inspiration for how to decorate mine. I think my favorite was lilyrose's; I never would've considered setting up the waterflow in the way she did, and I love the simplicity of the overall decorating, despite the beautiful and complex water terraforming.
I always come back to these no matter how long I’ve been playing.
