Absolutely gorgeous! Those are beautiful papers! Such an awesome fold. I remember seeing scrimping mommy's as well. This one is so pretty! I definitely will be making some. Brilliant as always. TFS 💕 💕 💕
I loved this card when Amanda show cased it. I'm going to try cutting semicircles at the ends of the strips then using circular toppers. The paper you used was fab, but I'm a paper hoarder so mustn't even think about it lol.
Hallo ich finde deine Karten einfach super. Habe auch schon viele nachgebessert. Würde mir nur wünschen, daß man die Maße unten vermerken kann. Bitte weiter so. liebe Grüße
This DSP is gorgeous.. I love your card. I actually scouted out ‘scrimpmommy’ after you mentioned it a while ago and I too absolutely love this fun fold. Great job, love it !🇨🇦
Your cards and tutorials are wonderful Louise, thank you so much. Can I please ask about your technique of applying the red tape? Why do you fold back just a little bit before sticking it down and then removing the backing? Also, do you have a Facebook group where people can share photos of cards they have made using your designs?
Thank you so much! I try to fold the backing tape back so that then I have a tab that I can easily pull the rest off once I have positioned the piece to be stuck. Otherwise, I end up fighting with the backing of the red tape - trying to get it off!! No I don't have a FB group, but I am on Instagram - so you can always tag me in on your post, or just send them through on DM's.
@@icedimages Thank you for the reply and the explanation about the red tape technique, that makes sense! Unfortunately, I am not on Instagram. I have made so many of your cards and I think you are a wonderful teacher. I love how you don't go 'over the top' in your tutorials, like some people think they need to do. You just show us clearly how to make your wonderful cards. I also appreciate that you add the measurements in text on your videos. It makes it so much easier when I pause your tutorials to copy what you have done!
@@deanneb5039 Thank you so much for your comments. It's really nice to hear people's feedback so I can see what I'm doing right and what people would like me to do differently. 👍😊
You could use two pieces of 5½ X 11" card and then score at 2¾, 5½, 8¼", along the long edge. Then mark at 2¾" along short edges (instead of 3"). Hope that helps.

The penny's just dropped that this card would work with any symmetrical shape, heart, flower, butterfly. Just not enough hours in the day lol
I made this card already after seeing it on the other crafter’s channel. Lovely.

Beautiful. Did you trim down the three 4x4 squares, or just the middle one?
I'm not sure - I think I just cut them to fit if needed. 😊

Hi watching your video wat size are your panels for your floating card
Hi! The base card panels are 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" (shown on screen at 5:20) 👍😊
You didn’t add the link to the chasing rainbows paper in the description.
I think it was because I couldn't find it online.
I would have to work it out to see if I can use lettersize card stock. 81/2 by 11
You could use two pieces of 5½ X 11" card and then score at 2¾, 5½, 8¼", along the long edge. Then mark at 2¾" along short edges (instead of 3"). Hope that helps.
Thank you soo much. Aww I got your name. It is Louise. I alwsys wanted to see what you looked like😀😀
