While I know there’s the novel “A Glitch in Time” and its upcoming sequel for next year, but tbh I’m not rather satisfied with how it ended. Not to mention they left Danielle out of the action and she even hasn’t become part of the main cast as Hartman confirmed she would be after the Season 3 finale. Although the novel and its upcoming sequel currently remain debatable if they’re officially canon or not to the show’s continuity not only cause Hartman’s not involved making them but also due to a continuity error in the first novel.
They should really give this series its deserved revival continuation after so long in either TV or other streaming services. There are a lot of missed opportunities had they done so.
Those missed opportunities would be not only Danielle get adopted into Danny’s family and become part of his team, but also have Danny learn to adapt to living his non-secret double life after the Season 3 finale, have his parents learn to change their viewpoints on ghost not just because of him but also after being introduced to Danielle and adopting her as part of their family, have Sam develop some better character development say another moment where her somewhat hypocritical actions gets Danny into trouble again only this time it puts his lifeline at stake and she’s his only hope at saving his life. Then after resolving the matter she finally let’s go of her pride via finally admitting her faults, give Danny a much more proper apology, and learn to become a much better at being a friend and girlfriend for Danny. Also would like say if had gotten a new season for the show, they have the Guys in White serves as the main antagonistic faction of the new season say they still maintain their hostile view on Danny but since he became a public hero, they can’t hunt him legally anymore otherwise they risk giving themselves a bad reputation so they try to secretly still hunt him via secret illegal means, making it Danny and his pals objective at bringing them down for good.
Also would like say if they make another but better Christmas special, where it involves Danny giving Danielle a special first Christmas. Say the story takes place a few episodes after Danny introduces Danielle to his family and they adopt her as part of their kin, and like as Christmas is coming soon, Danny seeing Danielle becoming interested in learning about the holiday for the first time, Danny sees himself as kid again through her yearning for a Merry Christmas Day. And remembering how his Christmas was ruined for the first 13 years of his life due to his parents bickering over Santa’s existence, Danny plans to give Danielle her special first Christmas via setting up a party just for her with help from Sam, Tucker, Jazz, along with some of their ghostly allies or their lesser evil foes, due to the Ghost Zone’s Christmas Truce. However, say Danny’s parents while going at it again with their bickering over Santa’s existence, spot Danny and friends with the ghosts and mistake it in believing that the ghosts have them under mind control and they try to “save” them but they end up destroying Danny’s surprise party for Danielle. When that happens Danny would express his disappointment in his parents for letting their negative view on ghosts ruin the party, explain why the ghosts were involved, and reasons he didn’t include them in it. After that Danny would leave sad and disappointed that he worked hard to give Danielle a Merry first Christmas but his parents end up ruining it, just as they ruined his Christmas as kid ages ago, while Danielle, Sam, Tucker, and Jazz accompany him to comfort him over the situation. But not while Jazz would stop to scold her parents like, “Nice going you two. At least Danny learned to change last Christmas. But you guys barely learn anything.” After that Maddie and Jack coming to realize that they’ve been poor parents every Christmas to Danny for the first 13 years of his life, decide to start becoming better parents for him, Jazz and Danielle. As such they make up to the ghost allies and foes of Danny and they fix up the party and surprise Danny, Danielle, and Jazz together. After that Danny’s parents reconcile with him, Danielle, and Jazz and apologize for messing up and they start to give them a Christmas they’ll never forget and they start to change their view on all ghosts. It would be say a way for Danny to finally get closure for losing Christmas from his childhood. It would be also funny yet sweet say the story, for said holiday special, ends like this: Dani Phantom: (hugs Danny) Thanks, big bro. This has been the best first Christmas ever. Danny Phantom: (hugs her) Aw, well, it was no biggie Danielle. Besides, I should really thank you. 'Cause seeing you happy as a kid in this time of the year, I feel I just got back all those lost Christmas years from my childhood. Unlike two certain people I know who couldn’t think about saving their less than important bickering over Santa being real or not either for another time before or after the holiday. Also perhaps make an animated movie version of the first novel where it serves as a finale for a second new season of the series where Danny would ultimately defeat and redeem Dark Danny for good with aid of his friends, family, including Danielle, Valerie, all his ghostly allies, and most of his lesser evil ghostly foes, including Vlad.

Sam Manson was a massive hypocrite who would often impose her will on other characters, from forcing the entire school to join her vegetarian lifestyle, to blackmailing her friends into releasing zoo animals, to scolding Danny for purposely getting rid of his powers without considering the stress and trouble he had been going through because of them (especially since she was the one who convinced him to do the deed that resulted in the Freak Lab Accident that gave him his powers to begin with). When Danny and Valerie were getting close, since she didn't comfort Danny when his heart was broken: Sam spies on Danny and Valerie, and when they break up, she doesn’t comfort Danny when he’s obviously heartbroken. Then there is her most infamous moment, from “Double Cross My Heart”. Sam is extremely angry at Danny for spying on her during her date with Gregor, threatening to end their friendship, despite the fact that she did the same thing to Danny during his time with Valerie. Unlike Sam, Danny had legitimate reasons since they knew nothing about Sam’s new crush and had reasons to be suspicious of this conspicuous, foreign transfer student dressed in white and black who just happened to start at Casper High the same time the Guys in White become much more active in town. Furthermore, the exact same thing had happened before (Johnny 13 had taken an interest in Jazz, and her life was in danger as a result). Not to mention Sam is never called out for her own actions. Instead, it’s Danny who apologizes while Sam laments that lying is the only way she can get a boyfriend. I don’t enjoy the psychopathic tendencies of Danny’s parents. Those psychopaths really do want to destroy ghosts. Danny is only ever an exception after they find out HE IS THEIR FLESH AND BLOOD SON. The “ghost boy” is an obvious teen who saves people. Hunting ghosts without the slightest hint of mercy isn’t cool to me. I don’t like Valerie’s psychotic tendencies either. She is going to destroy Danielle, yet only stops because Danielle is half human. Even if Danielle was a full ghost, it was not right to do such a thing to a child, regardless of what race they are, and it is hardly heroic at all. Tucker is not a great character. The episode "Bitter Reunions", wherein the Ghost of the Dairy King frees Danny Fenton and tells him, "Not all ghosts are evil, you know, some just like to be left alone." The actual show doesn’t acknowledge this.
