Two years on... I've "Paused" the video at 9'00" in. Shout out. I only heard these pedals tonight. First time. I listened to an episode with you lads "Stacking" Amps. Lee drinking endless cuppas (hilarious), Chappers doing his thing. He kept hitting the "Stomp Box" and what I was hearing was phenomenal. Sincerely. Did an online search and went to a formerly renowned company here in the U.S. (currently filing for Chapter 11). Found a pedal. Singular. Continued to "Search". Found Danish Pete's review? What's his problem? Found this Episode and.... Lads! This is brilliant. It was you guys? Listen up... these pedals are the real deal. Right up there with all the other authentic Brit Gear. Vox and Marshall. No joke. Kudos. Thanks Chappers for keeping it at home. Now p off. Let me watch the rest of the video. Thanks lads.

Probably some super exotic variation of Guibourtia ehie mixed with various snake oils from around the world. It only makes sense. You want it to be durable to all the foot stomping after all.

How could anyone say bad things about these two guys doing vids about guitars etc. ...and putting some fun into it...after coming across Anderton's vids I know longer watch anyone else. ...the rest are just too serious. ..music is about having fun...I wouldn't play if it wasn't fun...ok so when you first pick up a guitar it's not fun fun straight away...but once I learned my first 3 chords G.C.D....it was fun and it's still fun....nothing better than playing along to a favourite song of your favourite band and getting lost in it all...so thanks guys....by the way why would anyone watch something they just don't like...

In the process of selling the house ( in a bit of a depressed economy ) to downsize quite a bit. Once all the silly shit is done and we have settled in, I have a few items I want to pick up from Andertons.
The Dane, both those Snake Oil pedals, and possibly an acoustisonic. I would likely do it all at once to keep shipping to the Colonies ( Canada) at a survivable rate.

My Truetone Jekyll & Hyde, does more than both of these combined, sounds similar (if not better - subjective!!), less space required and less patch leads and only one power connection.
Half the price.

i think the silver one sounds best but the bronze one looks best actually the bronze one sounds like young hendrix tones nice late 50's early 60's jimi, and the silver like band of gypsies jimi. i would have to try both in person their both so tempting

Am I the only one that didnt think these sound very good? Very scratchy, thin, and frumpy sounding. Good if you like 80s thrash i guess. But you could sort of tell they weren't even liking the tones they were getting, you could especially see in Lee's face, they kept playing with the knobs so much and it never seemed to get better for them. Ive watched enough of these videos to know when these guys like something and they seemed almost underwhelmed with their own product, but still had to try and sell it.

My only "complaint" is that the marvelous engine should have silver knobs, to match the contrast of the very thing. They sound great though.

I think they look cool. Lately I've been using the TC Electronic Dark Matter for my amp sound and running the TS9 in front of it. Same kind of idea you have going here.
