Thank you for sharing. You have a very impressive and beautiful Collection of Connie Lowe dolls. I enjoyed learning about the different skin tone dolls.
Yeah. My formerly blue Bobobi doll is now a yellowish green that uninitiated peeps admire and think was her original colour. Trust me to get one of the trickiest colours for the first BJD I ever kept.
How interesting to find out about the different colors in resin, I would love to see the resin being poured or how its mixed up. Is this something the actual artist dose or its done in a factory, either way would love to see it being put together. Thankyou Allison for another great video xx
Allison lay in her bed that night , after a long day filming for her dolly followers. She was lulled by the thoughts of distant imaginings of her dolls' secrets.Of how the creators of her dolls are inspired. What makes them sculpt these little people for all to enjoy. Why so many people love particular childlike sculpts of maybe Connie Lowe or Nikki Britt or the more sophisticated sculpts of PashaPasha. What makes them so desirable? But just as the collector begins to resign herself to the silence of her beloved dolls, an unexpected marvel was unfolding in the middle of the night. Amidst the soft hum of the moonlight, she hears faint, almost imperceptible chuckles and tiny bumps coming from the doll room. With gentle precision, the dolls carefully navigate their way down to the floor. Some from the highest shelves. Some swing from the edge of a shelf to land softly on a lower one, while others rely on cleverly placed miniature cushions and soft fabrics to cushion their fall. Each doll takes its turn, guided by an unspoken understanding of teamwork and shared purpose, until they've all safely gathered on the floor. Once down safely, the dolls engage in conversations that mirror the diverse beauty and experiences they represent. They speak of their creators, of Connie Lowe and Pasha and Valentina and of the many other creators who brought them to this human place. Of the love and dedication that went into crafting each of them. They share stories of the doll collector, the person who has given them a home and nurtured their imaginative world. They delve into their dreams and aspirations, whispering about the adventures they wish to have and the places they long to explore. Some express gratitude for the close bonds they've formed with one another, recognising that despite their differences, they are a family of cherished friends. They dont stay animated for too long because they cannot risk being seen . And so as their stories come to a close they look at the place in the doll room where they were placed and with extraordinary determination, they reach for one another, forming a miniature human chain that stretches from the floor to the highest shelf. Under the soft, silvery moonlight, the doll room stills once again. It is a sanctuary of shared stories and profound connections. The dolls, brought to life by the collector's love and the magic of the night, remind us that even in the quietest moments, the world can be a place of wonder and unity.
