Now back to 2018, Yael Naïm is sharing with us a beautiful live improvisation, which is a part of her latest live set. Anyone considering buying a Antelope product be weary. You may not get what is advertised. I purchased a discrete 8 with the verge and edge mic. The verge mic cannot handle the SPL stated on the website. Its not possible to close mic drums without every hit clipping the mic. Even with the gain on the interface all the way down -12db. I Contacted support and they informed me there is nothing they will do. I will make a video showing the issue. If your thinking about getting the verge you may want to check it out first.

Steve The Beat Antelope Audio ended up sending me all new verge microphones. I have since recorded drums with the new verge microphones and they work great. The problem I was experiencing is not an issue with the new verge microphones.
